City Hall Closed to the Public

In an effort to implement social distancing practices recommended to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Pleasant View City office buildings will be closed to the public effective Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.  We will continue to monitor the situation and weekly evaluations will be made to determine if the buildings will reopen or if the closure will be extended.

City services will continue to be provided.  City employees will be handling customer service needs either online, via email, or by telephone and all city employees who work in the field will continue to do so.  If your needs cannot be met via one of the customer service options listed above, please call the appropriate office for your needs and arrange an in person appointment, if available.

  • Please visit our website at for department contact information and online services.If you are unable to find what you need online, you may call or email the appropriate department through the contact information listed below and/or on the website.You may call the general office number 801-782-8529 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday, or 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Fridays.For urgent issues after hours, please call the on call emergency number at 801-547-7772.
  • Utility bill payments and other documents may be deposited in the drop box on the east side of City Hall.Questions on utility bills may be asked by calling 801-782-8529 during the hours listed above.
  • Building and subdivision inspections will continue to be made.To schedule an inspection, please have your building permit number ready and call Sunrise Engineering at 800-560-6151.All inspections require 24 hour notice.
  • You can reach the Pleasant View Police Department by calling 801-782-6736.If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1.
  • All basement rentals have been suspended until the COVID-19 crisis passes.
  • Don’t flush paper towels or any other product, besides toilet paper, down the toilet.This can cause a block in your lines and have a sewer back up in your home, which would require you to hire a plumber and disaster clean up company.
