POPULATION PROJECTIONS 2006-2030

 

            The city completed a projection of growth in the mid summer of this year.  The projection was based on anticipated building permits on lots expected to become available through development approvals in the future and utilizing a 3.2 household size.   At the time, we expected our population to be as follows:

            Since the projections were done, the number of new building lots recorded has not met that expectation, while the building permit numbers anticipated for 2006 are consistent.  A revised, more conservative estimate is as follows:

            As can be seen, even with a more conservative approach, the projected growth in Pleasant View is significant.
